Serving Northern California and beyond, Argos Timber Works specializes in design and construction of traditional timber frame structures as well as Renovation and Revitalization of historic vernacular agricultural structures. Working with traditional joinery techniques (Traditional timber framing is the method of creating structures using heavy, carefully fitted and joined timbers with joints secured with large wooden pins), blended with modern engineering technology, we produce timber works that exhibit both traditional and contemporary tastes. From rustic and traditional mortise and tenon joinery, to custom engineered and fabricated steel joinery, nothing is beyond our scope. In addition, we work with engineers who specialize in timber-structures and have engineering experience with timber frame joinery as well as steel joinery engineering.
